Wiltshire House
Gadigal land
This inner west Federation home was carefully crafted to include an expanse of living areas at the rear of the home. The contemporary extension opens out onto a garden perfect for a young family. The original character and charm of the home was retained with an emphasis on connection and integrity of the old and new.
Uniquely crafted elements, custom made joinery and high quality fittings create a sophisticated palette. Thoughtful details successfully merge the old and the new paying homage to the finer details and workmanship of the original house. The materials selections layer the home in texture and warmth and celebrate the different eras of the residence.
We had the great fortune to engage Maryanne on the renovation and extension of our Federation house in Stanmore. As we sit in what is our dream home, we see Maryanne’s touch everywhere; from the exquisite external materials she blended so beautifully with the heritage, form and feel of our existing home, to the structural and aesthetic detail only made possible through her seamless project management and communication with our building and interiors team. Right down to the placement of our son’s infamous trampoline, Maryanne was across every detail and had issues resolved before we knew they even existed! We couldn’t recommend Maryanne more highly - not only is she the consummate professional but is an absolutely pleasure to deal with.
